Live Wedding Painting Process

1. Booking

To book your live painting, fill out an inquiry form. Once you have submitted your inquiry, I will reach out within 1-3 days to let you know my availability. I will then follow up with a questionnaire to gather the details and put together a proposal for you. This will include an invoice and contract. A 25% deposit is required to reserve your date.

2. Composition Preparation

Let me know your ideas! Scene, background, angle, guests? Do you want a horizontal or vertical canvas? Or if you aren't sure, I can piece it together on the spot.

3. Logistics

Before the big day, I will need you to send photos of your guests with names and relationships. This helps me know who to look for to add in the painting. I contact your coordinator or venue to determine a spot to set up and an arrival time.

4. Event Day

I arrive 2 hours early to set up and begin painting the background. For larger canvases and venues with a lot of detail, I may begin the painting before the event. I take photos during the first dance or we coordinate a photo before the reception if you want to pick your pose. Your guests should come to me so that I can take a reference photo.  At the end of the night I bring the painting home to complete it in the studio!
